A full-service adventure trip business based in adjacent Lakewood Ranch, The Real BeachHorses provides a wide range of adventure trips.
Since 2007, Great World Nature Tours has conducted informal trail rides. The family bought 10 horses, a 24′ stock trailer, and a Ford F-150 truck and became famous in the area very quickly.
Bradenton’s Palma Sola Bay installed beach rides in 2008, which made them even more popular.
The Chill Ride is The Real BeachHorses’ most popular horseback riding tour.
Guests ages 10 and older can enjoy this 1.5-hour soothing session. There are almost all rescue horses here, and you’ll fall in love with them instantly.
A life jacket and helmet will be provided for you, and a waterproof bridle will be made for your horse.
You may even get lucky and see dolphins swimming alongside you as your guide gets you settled in and takes you around the waterways.
The Real BeachHorses also provides The Thrill Ride and The Trail Ride adventures (which takes you through Deer Prairie Creek Preserve).
Non-horseback adventures include kayaking, boat tours, cuisine tours, aircraft trips, and more. Horseback rides run around 1-2 hours and cost between $98 and $140 per person.
Daily tours are given from roughly 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

We did this for our honeymoon. My husband is an experienced horse rider and was so excited. I am not and was pretty nervous to ride a horse in the ocean. The horse trainers were absolutely amazing though. They made me feel so much better and we had a wonderful time. They even took plenty of pictures for us. Overall it was worth the money and something I recommend trying atleast once!
