Oma’s Pizza Owners

The Mannino family has been running Oma’s restaurant Bradenton Beach on Anna Maria Island since 1982. Because the owner is from Sicily, the tomato sauce may be a little sweet. So they serve beer and wine in addition to standard beverages. Their claim to fame is pizza, so if you have the time, give it a try.

On Columbus Day, October 10, 1977, Lorenzo Amato, the owner of oma, prepared the world’s largest pizza.

At a cost of $25,000, the pizza was made with 2,500 pounds of flour, 100 gallons of water, 79 gallons of tomato sauce, 315 pounds of cheese, and 315 pounds of pepperoni.

Best Pizza if looking for a New York or New Jersey pizza

I travel from North Port Fl. Love the Pizza. If your looking for a hometown pizza shop you found the best place. The only fault I find is it does need a good makeover

Pizza crust is amazing at this family run restaurant. One thing you don’t want to pass up is the Italian dressing. They make it themselves and it’s fantastic. It’s great on salad but also to dip your pizza crust into as well. Support local and go grab a pizza, pasta or salad at this establishment.
