BEST PIZZA – Solo’s Pizza is open daily at 4 p.m. for dine-in and delivery, with closing times fluctuating according to season “or weather,” according to their website.
They serve wings, subs, and burgers in addition to classic pizzeria fare. Solo’s pizza has a thin crunchy crust, but their calzones are mushy and excellent. They have both meat and veggie selections (non-vegan), and if you’re really hungry, the “Super Deluxe” combines both!
You want to go out for a burger or pizza occasionally, and you want to remain in other times, and you can’t decide. Solo’s Pizza is ideal for those occasions when you want the convenience of a restaurant with the comfort of staying at home. Shawn Waters, the owner of Sola, adores his seasonal clientele and is re-energized every year when he sees the same faces.
Indeed, his restaurant is adorned with sports memorabilia and t-shirts, many of which are gifts from his repeat customers, such as the recently acquired cricket bat, which was given to him by a customer from Wales. But, as much as Waters enjoys out-of-town customers, it is the locals who have made Solo’s what it is today, and he is grateful for that.

Solo’s menu has evolved throughout time, but it still offers the traditional pub fare that everyone, even children, enjoys. It serves handcrafted pizzas in three sizes with a variety of toppings, including white pizza, all-meat pizza, veggie pizza, and, believe it or not, a BLT pizza.
Subs and burgers are also popular with soloists, with options ranging from classic burgers to Italian sausage subs, broiled chicken breast sandwiches, Philly calzones, and Philly cheese steak sandwiches.
Wings, pig in a blanket, nachos, and chili are among the finger items available to accompany your beer or wine. Solo’s has six draft beers on tap, one of which changes with the beer season.
A big wine variety is also available, both by the glass and by the bottle, at extremely reasonable pricing. You can also take home a pizza or a sandwich.

Highly recommend because of the delicious thin crust pizza and draft beer. We live locally and know we can always get a fresh hot pizza and cold beer in a friendly, relaxing atmosphere. The staff and service are top notch and they keep the drinks coming if you want. They go out of their way to accommodate my picky veggie choices. We love watching all the big screen tvs while enjoying our food. Shawn, the owner, is super nice too and so is the help. Check it out. You won’t regret it.
