Island Scoops is located on Bradenton Beach, on the south end of Anna Maria Island. They serve locally Home Made Ice Cream, Gourmet Sodas, Coffee, Açaí Bowls, Candy, Bakery Items, and Gifts!
What is Big Olaf ice cream you ask? Delicious ice creams that are “hand mixed by local Amish craftsmen and churned in batch freezers. Boasting a combination of high quality, fresh ingredients and rich grade A milk producing authentic and mouth-watering ice cream.”

Their Ice cream and Sorbets are made from quality all-natural ingredients, locally sourcing products whenever possible, and many of our ice cream inclusions are made from scratch in our facility. This little shop specializes in “Big Olaf” ice cream they also offer baked goods, malts, gourmet sodas, candy, and island gift items.
Kids love the trashcan flavor and adults can indulge in a Kahlua Krunch Malt. They also offer amazing sundaes, malts, shakes, and other frozen treats.
With a wide variety of rich and delish ice cream flavors, they also have what they call “retail therapy”…

Lots of choices. Several dairy free options. The dairy free mango sorbet is the best. We had a banana split with mango, orange cream sickle, and key lime cheesecake. Also, we had an ice cream nachos. It is three flavors, waffle chips, whip cream, toppings of choice, and drizzles. Prices are fair. Well worth the visit.
