John Scott, nicknamed “BUH” to his grandchildren, grew up in Texas and developed a taste for spicy barbecue.
He discovered that the sweet Tennessee BBQ flavor was equally as excellent after relocating to Tennessee. John has blended that “Texas Heat and Tennessee Sweet” to produce BUH’s BBQ – Dry Memphis Style Rub and BBQ Sauces in North Carolina.
He founded this enterprise out of a love of excellent cuisine and amazing BBQ. John has spent years honing what everyone believes is “the finest BBQ they’ve ever experienced!”
His family and friends have finally persuaded him to begin selling his delectable rub and delectable sauces online for the rest of the globe to taste.

The first I tried a sandwich, was at tunes on the dunes. Oh yeah this is good. I had seen the place up on hwy 87, but had not stopped. After the sandwich I stop and pick up brisket, some times three lbs when I have company in town, They love it, like me. Yeah it is that good
